AusAID is the Australian Government Agency responsible for managing Australia's overseas aid program. Australia has been a dedicated development partner to Indonesia for more 50 years. Through the development assistance program, Australia and Indonesia work together to alleviate poverty and promote regional peace, stability and prosperity. We are looking for an experienced professional to take part in exciting new position of:

SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER - SOCIAL PROTECTION

The appointed Senior Program Manager will be part of AusAID Social Protection Unit; a team of our people managing a $60 million/4 year program of work. This program of work is likely to grow sustainability both in value and the number of activities under management. It is involvement with this growth agenda that will be the new Senior Program Manager's primary focus, under limited direction of a Unit Manager and Counsellor. The position will be an integral part of the Social Protection Unit. It will take a lead role in coordinating the unit's research work and as well as being involved in taking forward some of the key pilots the unit will be funding through the National Team for Accelerating Poverty Reduction (TNP2K).

It is highly desired that the individual possesses solid experience in social protection and working with large government poverty reduction programs.
